Music Legacy

Students in kindergarten through third grade made music together today in the first of five Music Legacy assemblies funded by our PTA.  They moved to the music, played on drums, and learned about rhythm patterns with whole, half, quarter, eighth notes, and rests.  Additionally, they practiced dynamics helping them know how to play pianissimo (very quiet), piano, forte, and fortissimo (very loud).  Music Legacy engages our students to listen and read music because both are important.
